The agreement between the Customs and Monopolies Agency and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation for the implementation of the “EU support for Internal Market” project in Serbia was signed in Rome.

Funded by the European Union and assigned to the Development Cooperation Agencies of Italy, Spain and Slovakia, it aims to align the legislation regulating the Serbian market with that of the Union, in view of Serbia’s accession to the EU.

In this context, ADM will support AICS as a technical partner, sending one of its officials to Belgrade for the entire duration of the project and also making the skills of its experts available for the implementation of activities in the market surveillance sector and the development of related technical infrastructures.

The initiative represents a concrete follow-up to the Agreement stipulated last March between the directors of ADM, Roberto Alesse, and of AICS, Marco Riccardo Rusconi, and confirms the potential of a synergy aimed at expanding the technical skills of Italian Cooperation, enriched from the experience gained by ADM in international technical assistance.
