New Call for Proposals: Enhancing Territorial Vocations between Puglia and Albania

Moldova: A New Playroom Opened Thanks to Italian Cooperation

Uganda: New Market Inaugurated in Adjumani Refugee Camps
The construction of the market, which began in February, represents a concrete example of this integrative approach. Located near the Magburu refugee camp, the market will be used by both refugees and the Ugandan resident population. The facility also includes a waste collection and recycling area and latrines, benefiting approximately 2,000 people.
Joint Mission in Niger on Early Warning Systems
A joint mission was conducted in Niamey from July 29 to 31, 2024. The mission included representatives from AICS Niamey, AICS Rome, UNDRR, UNDP, CIMA Foundation, and the African Union. The goal was to define priorities with a participatory approach and to identify, by capitalizing on the results of past or ongoing Italian initiatives, the actions to be implemented to strengthen early warning systems in Niger.
