Disability: the I-Lead project at the “Giffoni Film Festival”
The animated short film “Melkam – Beyond the Boundaries of Disability” was presented at the Giffoni Film Festival. It tells the story of a young Ethiopian woman, blind from birth, who—despite living in a situation of severe socio-economic vulnerability—managed to overcome barriers and prejudice.
Impact Enterprises Measure: a preliminary market consultation has been launched
At the end of the process, the call for tenders will be published, with its structure defined based on the outcomes of the preliminary market consultation and the analysis of public demand. The financial resources allocated for the implementation of this “Impact Enterprises Measure” (Profit 4.0 Call) amount to 49.5 million euros.
Humanitarian Nexus, Development, and Peace: the Operational Manual and FAQs have been published
These documents, developed in implementation of the Guidelines on the Humanitarian, Development, and Peace Nexus, were created in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Their aim is to strengthen coordination among the three pillars of intervention – humanitarian, development, and peace – and to promote greater coherence and understanding of the terminology and methodologies related to the "nexus" approach.
Joint Statement on Gaza and the Occupied Palestinian Territories
We call on all parties to protect civilians and uphold the obligations of international humanitarian law. Proposals to remove the Palestinian population into a “humanitarian city” are completely unacceptable. Permanent forced displacement is a violation of international humanitarian law.
AEYA Initiative: launch of the Italian Component
